Together We Rise: March To Decide Our Future

March with us November 7th to help build a future where we decide what our democracy looks like. No matter the outcome of the election, no matter who claims to have won, we know that we must count every vote and continue fighting for the future of our communities. The March will start at the former Third Precinct at Lake and Minnehaha. Together we rise from the ashes from the presidential election, the police killing of George Floyd, the COVID pandemic and the unfair systems that led us to this moment. It is clear that we cannot go back to normal but instead we must create a future where all of us – people of color, workers, tenants, immigrant communities – have a voice and our families can thrive. Stay tuned for updates for the location and route of the march.
**COVID Safety: Together we must take care of the health and safety of our communities. If you attend this action we ask that you please wear a face mask and practice social distancing by remaining at least 6 feet apart from others at all times.
**Non-violence: We ask all who join this march to commit to nonviolence. We have learned from our counterparts who succeeded in resisting undemocratic regimes that nonviolent resistance stops coups. Note: Marshalls will be available who are trained in de-escalation and community safety.
